life:

Yikes! Brutus, an 18-foot-long saltwater crocodile, rises like a nightmare of mythic proportions from Australia’s Adelaide River, lunging for the buffalo meat offered up by cruise operators. (Note that Brutus is missing a front leg — lost years ago, according to local legend, in a shark attack.)

about time to go to the doctor. I woke up several times during the night choking in my sleep. I hate being sick.

Bronchitis

is a lovely way to end my holiday break and go back to work. Besides curled up on my office chair and hacking up my lungs, I’m pretty grateful to have had such a wonderful weekend with family and friends.

I bought an xbox over the weekend and should have it by this coming Tuesday. Next on my list will be Skyrim. I absolutely cannot wait!

And in other news, I’m ready to go back up to the family farm and shoot targets* with various rifles and handguns.

*note: targets do not involve animals
